On 3 October 2018 the Institute of English and American Studies proudly hosted Dr Colin Swatridge. As always, Dr Swatridge drew great interest by delivering a lecture entitled The Idea of Europe in which he gave an overview of the emergence of the common European thought of integration. He also focused on the particpiation of the United Kingdom in the proccess of European integration and also offered an insight into the latest chapter of the Brexit negotiations.
