Eszterházy Károly University will hold the annual international workshop on the field of social and political changes in North-East Hungary from the turn of 19th to 20th centuries.
The organizers would hope to be able to discuss the pivotal moments of this period. Among other things, we can mention challenges of the turn of the century, the World War I, the following revolutions, World War II and its bloody end, the year of 1956, and subsequent periods. This workshop focus on this process and this changes how affected the North-East Hungary's region. These issues are located across interdisciplinary research so we encourage historians, sociologists, archivists, economists, literateurs to interpret different approaches to the question in this conference.
