Tools and Aims in Environmental Education

First Circular
Dear Collegues,
we would like to invite you to participate in the IEEC, International Environmental Education Conference to be held from 26th to 29th April in 2016 at Károly Eszterházy University in Eger, Hungary. The purpose of the workshop is to bring together scientists from around Europe and from the whole world to exchange information.
Human global population is expected to increase to 9 billion by 2050, with youth (aged 15–24) accounting for about 14 percent of that number. While the world’s youth cohort is expected to grow, employment and living opportunities for youth is limited.
Participants of IEEC 2015 can share their research experiences, practices, make partnerships and look for ways to expand the knowledge of environmental education practices.
Eger is a popular historical town in Hungary which is situated at the intersection of the spectacular Bükk Mountains and the Great Plains and surrounded by valuable and nice vineyards. It is the seat of Heves County. Due to its educational profile the Eszterházy Károly University is both professionally and culturally integrated into the life of the city and determines the traditional treatment of natural areas. While on the one hand it operates as an intellectual ghbase, by hosting various conferences along with scientific and cultural events and educational programs for the professionals of the region, the University actively contributes to the improvement of the cultural life of the citizens of the city and the region.
