New Stipendium Hungaricum students in Eger

Ten new Tunisian students start their studies at Eszterházy Károly University of Applied Sciences in the spring semester of the 2014/15 academic year thanks to Stipnedium Hungaricum scholarship program. The program was founded by the Hungarian Government in 2013 and it is coordinated by the Balassi Institute.
The aim of the program is to let students coming from countries of the 'Eastern Opening' finish their full-time bachelor's, master's or doctorate degree in Hungary and after graduation, facilitate economic and cultural development in their countries.
One student arrived in September, 2014 and he is enrolled in our master's degree program in Physical Education. Together with the students who arrived in January, 2015 and enrolled in our Computer Science program on a Bachelor level, now we have eleven Tunisian students studying at Eszterházy Károly University of Applied Sciences within the frameworks of Stipendium Hungaricum program.
The Mobility Office organized an Orientation Day for Stipendium Hungaricum students on 20 February where students were informed about the most important adminsitrative and study-related issues and had the opportunity to find out more about their program, meet academic staff and fellow international students.
