Organized by Eszterházy Károly University (EKU), students from Beijing Union University participate in a Wine Culture Summer School taking place between July 16 and July 29, 2019.
Ten students applied for the two-week course opened at the Lyceum by Katalin Taylerné Tóth, Head of Centre for International Relations (CIR). She emphasized that the training aims at improving English speaking and writing skills in the context of wine culture. Students can get acquainted with the wine regions of EKU campuses and they are able to participate in several past time activities and trips as well.
Dr. Ilona Dr. Pajtókné welcomed the delegation and she was glad to see another Chinese cooperation with Eszterházy. She emphasized that more and more Chinese students are able to come to the University making the Chinese-Hungarian collaboration even more prosperous.
EKU was introduced by Krisztina Szőke, partnership coordinator of CIR and Zsolt Zsófi, Head of the Viticulture and Oenology department.
In addition to the language training, students become familiar with local, national and international wine culture and they participate in an on-the-spot field practice as well.
