Erasmus+ higher education student and staff mobility programme between Programme and Partner Countries
The Europe Union has funded the Erasmus programme for over 25 years enableing over three million European students to spend part of their studies in another higher education institution in Europe. Now, the Erasmus+ programme is expanding and it opens up the previous opportunities in order to facilitate mobility from and to other parts of the world, between the so-called Programme and Partner Countries.
The new programme is called called "international credit mobility". This action supports student mobility for studies (and internships from 2016) and staff mobility for teaching and training. Eszterházy Károly University of Applied Sciences submitted its application to the EU for the programme in March 2015.
