Last modified: 2019. October 11.
The National Conference of the Students’ Academic Circle (OTDK) was held for the 33rd time this spring by the National Council of Students’ Academic Circle (OTDT). The competition has been providing a forum for thousands of talented students to present their research results for 65 years.
The Institute of History was represented in two sections: the Section of Pedagogy, Psychology, Andragogy, and Library Studies, which was held on 18 to 20 April at the University of Szeged, and the Section of Humanities, held on 18 to 21 April at the University of Pécs.
In Szeged, Sándor Czéh and Flóra Héjjas (Cultural Heritage Studies MA major) received a Special Mention Prize with their joint research titled "The Plaques of Eger". In Pécs, Alex Mihályfi-Tóth (History MA major) won 1st prize with his presentation titled "The Operation of the National Ambulance Service during the Revolution and War of Independence of 1956". His mentor was János Rainer M., PhD.
The events of this meaningful week are presented through a selection of photographs to encourage our students to enroll in the TDK movement. OTDK is not only about competition but also about getting acquainted with the scientific community and spending quality time while having fun.
