The general objectives of the programme
The objective of the Management and Leadership MSc Programme is to train specialists primarily for private businesses and public organisations who possess the necessary integrated professional skills in the field of management as well as the relevant skills of their chosen specialisation. With the knowledge and skills acquired, they will be able to analyse, plan and manage the operating processes of organisations both in the private and the public sectors with problem-recognition and –solving skills in a creative way of thinking. The knowledge gained during their masters studies will enable them to continue their studies within the framework of a PhD Programme.

BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION AND MANAGEMENT MAJOR (BA)

The aims of the course are:
to train economic experts having economics-, social theory-, applied economic science and methodology knowledge and professional skills and capable of planning, analysing processes of business organizations and institutions and also managing, organising business and entrepreneurial activities and processes. They have adequate knowledge to continue their studies in the second cycle of the education.

Business development (MA)

The general objectives of the programme
The objective of the program is to train such specialists that are able to analyze the activities of economic organizations and to solve their complex development tasks with the help of the up-to-date theoretical and practical knowledge they acquired during their studies. Meanwhile, possessing high level theoretical and practical business development knowledge, master level business knowledge and consciously developed managerial skills, students graduating from this master programme are capable of performing the tasks of medium and high level managers at domestic and international actors of economy. The knowledge they acquire also makes them capable of continuing their studies at PhD level.

Teacher of Economics – (entrepreneurial studies) MA

The aim of the program:
is the training of Teachers of Economics capable of forming the economic perspective and general level business and enterprise-related knowledge of participants in public education programs, in adult education, and in non-traditional programs. Furthermore, graduates of the program can teach both theoretical and practice-oriented subjects related to business along with becoming eligible for the performance of pedagogical research. Graduates of the program will acquire sufficient theoretical foundations to continue their studies at the doctoral PhD level.

HUMAN RESOURCES MAJOR (BA)

The aims of the course are:
to train methodologically well-trained economic professionals having proficiency in Economic Sciences and appropriate professional- and general education, capable of analysing labour markets, fulfilling functions of human resource management, functioning its systems, tools and applying its up-to-date methods. Those graduating from Human Resources BA major are also competent in coordinating reconciliation processes at the workplace, solving organizational, analytical, planning and decision preparation tasks.
They have adequate knowledge to continue their studies in the second cycle of the education.

to train economic experts having economic sciences-, social theory-, applied methodology knowledge and professional skills and are capable of implementing, managing and organising activities in the field of Tourism and Catering. They have adequate knowledge to continue their studies in the second cycle of the education.

HIGHER EDUCATION VOCATIONAL PROGRAMME

The aims of the course are the following:

To train professionals having the necessary theoretical knowledge, thus being able to acquire practical knowledge, solve case studies simulating the process of business practice. They also know the law regulating business activities, the most important financial terms and conditions of the market adaptation of the business, the basic principles and methods of ruling, organising and operating management proceedings. They are aware of financial, accounting and taxation bases of business financing, the methodology of analysing activities, the base of decision-preparation.
Those studying on Small and Medium –sized Enterprises specialisation, know the aim, role and significance of strategic and operative planning, the way of their composition and their practical implements; up-to-date organisational procedures, information and communication technologies and their practical use. They are also aware how to form and implement the marketing strategy, market attitude, business image and PR activities of Small and Medium- sized Enterprises.

TOURISM AND CATERING
HIGHER EDUCATION VOCATIONAL PROGRAMME

The aims of the course are the following:

to train professionals with good command of Business Language and practice in the field of Tourism and Catering enterprises. The graduates can establish and run both micro and Small -Enterprises in Tourism and Catering, can manage given departments of medium and large companies, perform certain office and assistance tasks helping the senior staff.
Students of Tourism specialisation can get acquainted with different fields of Tourism and are able to fulfil assistant and rapporteur tasks either individually or backed by senior staff.
