Purpose of our faculty is to become a dominant intellectual and knowledge centre in the field of educational science, master's teacher training and development of information and communication technology. Life-long learning is provided by training programmes offered in every cycle of the education system (post-secondary (higher vocational) education, bachelor, master, post-graduate training programmes, doctorate courses). In pursuance of European universities' Magna Charta (Bologna, 1988) and following declarations (Berlin, Bergen, London), our institution contributes to the development of universal knowledge and the Hungarian society by means of versatile, interdisciplinary education, high-level research and developmental activities supported by modern infrastructural facilities.

According to Hungarian legal regulations, to the act of higher education, and to departmental quality policy, the Faculty of Teacher Training and Knowledge Technology wishes to accomplish its goals in collaboration with the extensive network of educators, other operatives, students, home and international partners of the institution.
