Eszterházy Károly University (Eger, Hungary) and Johannes Kepler University (Linz, Austria) have developed a double degree master’s programme in computer science (DDCS) that will allow students to obtain degrees from both Partner Universities. The language of the DDCS programme is English.
Eszterházy Károly University submitted the accreditation document for the new study programme, Computer Science MSc programme in English, to the Hungarian Accreditation Committee (HAC) in the autumn semester of the academic year. On the 29th January, the application was unanimously supported by the Hungarian Accreditation Committee. Following the HAC's accreditation decision, the new programme receives licence to operate from the Educational Authority under the Ministry.
Double degree students will spend one or more semesters at each of the partner universities (EKU, JKU) depending on their field of specialization in Data Science or Software Engineering. The double degree master's programme in Computer Science allows students to obtain two degrees, one from Eszterházy Károly University (EKU) and one from Johannes Kepler University (JKU).
