International Days on Intercultural Awareness

Last modified: 2017. April 12.

2-5 May 2017, Eszterházy Károly University, Hungary

Join us on a four day long experience for teaching and administrative staff: presentations, workshops, teaching and job shadowing opportunities, exciting social events
Universities welcome staff and students from abroad and send their staff and students to partner universities. How can we deal with cultural differences at the university? How can we bridge the gap between cultures? How can we prepare our students when they plan a study abroad semester?
Eszterházy Károly University serves its students with a wide variety of educational programmes in arts, sciences, humanities, pedagogy, at four campuses located in four cities of the region, Eger, Sárospatak, Gyöngyös and Jászberény. With years of experience in handling multicultural challenges, we invite our partners to exchange ideas and share good practices.
We encourage all our invited partners to bring their own ideas and presentations. When registering for the event, please submit the abstract of your selected topic by email to academicmobility@uni-eszterhazy.hu . All presentations are to be published in the proceedings of the event.

Please note that there is no registration fee for the conference events of the International Days on Intercultural Awareness except for the trip to Tokaj and Sárospatak on Friday which costs 50EUR/participant.

We are ready to assist you with all necessary documents, should you decide to use the Erasmus+ Staff Mobility Program for funding.
