A Brazilian delegation visited Eszterházy Károly University
On the invitation of the Hungarian Rectors' Conference (HRC), one of the most prominent rectors' associations, the ABRUEM (Brazilian Association of Rectors of State and Municipal Universities) visited Hungary between 25th June and 6th July.
Founded in 1991, the association brings 45 universities together aiming to sustain cooperation and discuss pivotal questions of higher education. At the initiative of HRC and the Embassy of Brazil in Hungary, the delegation visited our country this year. For the principal purpose of fostering Hungarian-Brazilian higher education relations, delegates arrived in Hungary led by Aldo Nelson Bona, the president of the rectors' association.
During their stay, the delegation visited 14 institutions including Eszterházy Károly University on 4th July.
Four years ago, within the framework of Science Without Borders, Eszterházy had Brazilian students of IT major. We are confident that as a result of successful negotiations and professional collaboration, more Brazilian students can be welcomed by our university.
