EKU student at the G200 Youth Forum 2015 conference

Gergő Fegyverneki - a first-year student at the Doctoral School of Education of Eszterházy Károly University of Applied Sciences - represented both the our institution and Hungary at the G8, G20 and the G200 Youth Forum 2015 international forum from April 29th to May 3rd 2015.

On this occasion, 193 countries delegated their young academics, students and parlimentary representatives to this well-known and large-scale event in order to present their research topics and to share their ideas on global topics such as economics and financials, human rights, social issues, youth and education.

The representative of Eszterházy Károly University of Applied Sciences also has participated in the „What Lessons Should G20 Countries Learn From Developing Countries?" round-table where he had the chance to discuss the current issues and questions in the field of education with participants from Argentina, the Czech Republic, Australia, Egypt, China, Saudi Arabia and South Africa.

Gergő Fegyverneki was also the co-president and co-presenter at the New Approaches in Education section. In his presentation entitled "Digital Culturally Responsive Pedagogy – New Challanges in Education", he explored the challanges of the Information Society, the digital culturally responsive pedagogy and the use of and experiments with tablets at the practice schools of Eszterházy Károly University of Applied, gaining more international reputation for our institution.

Reports were made on all the presentations, which will be sent to the goverments and universities of various countries with the purpose of helping them to rethink their educational strategies.
