Open Day at Eszterházy Károly University

A lot of students visited Eszterházy Károly University on 3rd December.

EKU presented the institutional facilities for prospective students within the frameworks of an open day.


The programmes started from 8:00 with a variety of activities like self-awareness games and quizzes related to the institution where visitors could challenge themselves.


At the official opening ceremony beginning at 9:00am students received information about the admission procedure. Zoltán Vécsei, the Head of the Student Service Center informed the participants about the dormitory possibilities, financial aid opportunities and available scholarships.

Ilona Pajtókné Tari, Vice-Rector for education and academic affairs talked about becoming a university from the 1 July 2016; as she said students apply for the Eszterházy Károly College in February of 2016, but will begin their studies at the Eszterházy Károly University in September.


The prospective students' orientation was supported by a schedule of the presentations and programs that lasted until 2pm. Those who could not attend the event this time, will have another chance on January 14, 2016.
