Researchers’ Night for the 9th time

Researchers’ Night offered exciting programs all day long for those who interested in sciences, on 25 September 2015. From the Lyceum to the Campus visitors had the chance to watch several entertaining experiments.
The I. Scientists' Marathon – József Petrovai Memorial Run was very popular. The EKF-team performed far beyond expectations, they have completed 110 km during the relay race, which included scientific presentations besides running. The smallest were entertained by the Harlequin Puppet Theatre in the morning. In addition to many exciting programs the chemical shows proved to be the most popular program this year again. These shows full of visual and sound effects are exciting and interesting for all ages.
The Library hosted the Researchers' Pub, where presentations and concerts waited the visitors.
More than three thousand visitors participated in the two locations of the programs, the Lyceum building and the Campus in Leányka street. Registered nursery and school groups visited the programs in the morning hours, in the rest of the day the organizers offered program series for families and the youth.

The organizers hope that by offering an insight to the world of science they can attract more people to learn about these fields.
