STRATEGIC COOPERATION
Last modified: 2019. June 18.
A trilateral cooperation agreement was signed between École Nationale Supérieure des Sciences Agronomiques de Bordeaux-Aquitaine (Bordeaux Sciences Agro), Etablissement Public Local d’Enseignement et de Formation Professionnelle Agricole de Bordeaux Gironde (EPLEFPA Bordeaux Gironde) and Eszterházy Károly University on June 12 in Bordeaux.
The cooperation primarily aims at developing joint research and educational activities in the field of viticulture and oenology. On the basis of this fixed-term agreement, partners would provide exchange programmes for their students and tutors/researchers. As for research programmes, partners attempt to examine sector-related questions and problems: symposia and conferences are planned to be organized to introduce and evaluate these findings.
Taking the relevant laws of the country into consideration, partners have also undertaken to promote secondary school, tertiary education and traineeship (CFA) mobility. On the other hand, they also provide and develop double degree programmes. The agreement also regulates the structure of the double degree and the strategic cooperation in other fields as well.
The agreement was signed by Kálmán Liptai, Rector of Eszterházy Károly University, Professor Olivier Lavialle, Director of Bordeaux Science Agro and Thierry Adam, Director of EPLEFPA Bordeaux Gironde in the Bordeaux House of Wines.
