Successful International Evenings

EEach semester our international students present their home countries within the frames of the Hungarian Culture and Intercultural Awareness course. It is an obligatory task for all course participants which aims to give students the opportunity to know each other better and also improve both their English knowledge and their presentation skills.
By now, the International Evenings, open to anyone interested in different cultures, have become one of the most popular international events of our institution.
This semester the International Evenings were held between 11-24 March in building B of EKU. During the four events, altogether 11 countries were presented by our students from Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Palestine, Poland, Slovakia, Spain, Romania, Tunisia, and Turkey.
The audience, -among them teachers and students of EKU -could learn a lot of interesting facts about history, geography, traditions, culture, sport, culinary art and everyday life of the presented countries.
